Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Fever And Throat Sore

my son has fever since tues. it'll go down during the day and picks up at night again to around 39 degree. he's having sore throat as well since wed and is on augmentin. But since last night, he will vomit out the antibiotic. I've also realised the antibiotic color is alittle yellowish. and it's getting darker by the day. Is it still good to be taken? also, how long will it takes for him to get better

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to Hcm,
It seems like your child is having acute pharyngitis and you are giving the right antibiotic. Slight color change in the medicine is acceptable. However , if its getting darker , I would suggest yout to buy a fresh one. It normally takes 3-4 days for fever to subside and complete duration can vary from 7-10 days depending on the severity of the illness. Hope your child gets well soon. Take care.
