General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There are many medical conditions that can cause intermenstual bleeding. Some of the common causes can be hormonal imbalance, a growth in your uterus, or vaginal dryness. I suggest to do a hormone level and a pelvic ultrasound for further evaluation. You may need to have cultures taken or tissue removed from your cervix or the lining of your uterus for testing. The treatment depends on the cause. I suggest to follow up with a gynecologist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
