Suggest Treatment For Inguinal Hernia

I recently had an an inguinal hernia removed 6 months ago. I am having horrible sharp pains in that area that seem to go thru to my bafk. I can ease the pain by lying flat with my knees up sometimes but it has progressively worsen over the last few days and now nothing is helping. When I stand it is worse and breathing in always causes the pain. Any ideas?

Dear: thanks for using HCM. Pain in the area of prior hernia surgery could be secondary to a new hernia that is incarcelated or trapped. Other possibility is a nerve damage from the surgery. It is very important to have it checked by the surgeon .
I hope my advise was helpful
