General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to side effects of Januvia.

It can cause joint and muscle pain.

I suggest using painkillers such as Ibuprofen.

I also suggest using an anti-inflammatory cream such as Voltaren cream.

If the symptoms continue I recommend to change the medication Januvia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
