Suggest Treatment For Infection In The Navel

Hi im 49 years old woman and i had gail blader surgery 4 months ago i got an infection on my belly botton i though it was because the doctor leave an stich but he made a test an result to be enterococus faecalis he have me a strong antibiotic called levofloxacina of 750 mgs my question is can that be cure or can come back how long can be the treatment he told me to take it for 7 days Thanks

you have an infection called nosocomial or contracted after the surgery.
nosocomial infections are rare but can exist, and for that your surgeon has done a microbial test and found an enterococus faecalis, but you must know thanks god, that the laboratory try to find also the best antibiotics to kill the bacteria (enterococus faecalis), before gaving results to your surgeon.
then the antibiotics given is the best found related to the results test done.
then after a 7 days treatment all will be good for you.
