Suggest Treatment For Infection In The Mouth

more of a dentist question ! but i recently ripped a tooth out , and i feel some is left in my mouth and it is getting infected , it now has a bad taste kinda like burnt rubber , is this bad and what is the worst thing that can happen ? im 27 years old 125 pounds , male , also could this be a cause of why im not gaining weight ?

Thanks for the query..

If after tooth extraction or tooth removal there is something left behind and is causing bad taste then it can be most probably due to any broken root piece that is left unextracted in the extraction socket.

It can cause Infection and bad smell in mouth..

However weight gain does not seems to be due to it..

So my suggestion is to consult a Dentist and get an x ray of the extraction site done..

If there is ant retaining root piece it will be removed followed by a course of antibiotics and painkillers..
Also do warm saline gargles and antiseptic mouthwash gargles for reducing Infection and bad smell..
