Welcome to HCM, I have gone through you query and understood your concerns, the High Blood Pressure have nonpharmacologic strategies that support the pharmacologic treatment, you need to do some lifestyle modification such as reducing dietary sodium to at lest 2.4 g per day, eating fruits, vegetables, low in fat, limit alcohol consumption, increasing exercise to at least 30 minutes per day.
Its will be great if you achieve a weight loss goal of 10 lb or more, take some vitamins supplements contains C, potassium, calcium, magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids, avoid emotional stress and tension with a proper stress management, I suggest you to practice some relaxation methods like Tai-Chi, acupuncture it's helpful too, keep your blood pressure controlled is very important to prevent cerebrovascular and coronary heart disease, monitoring your blood pressure systematically you can make the right adjustments to ensure the effectiveness of treatment
Please kindly rate if my advise has been helpful
Wishing you a good health
