Suggest Treatment For Impingement Syndrome After Taking A Cortisone Shot
Hi I was diagnosed with impingement syndrome of the right shoulder today. I was given a cortisone injection and had X rays taken. My doctor said the cortisone could take 36 to 48 hrs.. I have pain tonight in my arm.Do you have any suggestions for relieving the pain? Thank you for your response.

Sometimes patients may have worsened pain the first 24 hours after the steroid shot in the shoulder. You may take Ibuprofen and paracetamol.
You should feel better within 24 hours from the injection. If you are no better or you notice any worsening please talk to your doctor.
