Dear user;
Thank you for using HCM for your healthy problem.
Can you tell me please:
How old are you?
Its your first time that check TSH level?Only that?
Did you do other blood test please?A TSH test measures the amount of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) in your blood.
Are you taking any medicines?
I am telling you the normal result of TSH
•     Normal values range from 0.4 to 4.0 milli-international units per liter (mIU/L).
•     TSH values can vary during the day. It is best to have the test early in the morning.
Be carefully because :Normal value ranges may vary slightly among different laboratories.
•     Some labs use different measurements or test different samples.
•     Talk to your provider about the meaning of your specific test
•     Unfortunately this one (TSH)thyroid lab test does not provide a complete picture.(HYPOTHYROID)
•     My advise is to know the hormone level of :Free T4, Free T3, Reverse T3, and thyroid antibodies.
•     Ultrasoaund of thyroid gland .
What abot your symptoms?
Tell me please are feeling:
Fatigue.,Increased sensitivity to cold,
Elevated blood cholesterol level
Muscle aches, tenderness and stiffness,
Pain, stiffness or swelling in your joints
Heavier than normal or irregular menstrual periods
Thinning hair
Slowed heart rate .Constipation,Dry skin,Weight gain,Puffy face

In your case we must to all the blood test for thyroid hormone level
•     Tsh , F Free T4, Free T3, Reverse T3, and thyroid antibodies.
•     Lipidogram (CHOL, TRG, VLDL,HDL).

To be sure if we have Hypothyroid , Subclinical Hypothyroid .
Please we must to have in consider your age because(Clinical suspicion of hypothytroid may be delayed in elderly patients because fatigue and constipacion etc of thyroid faiulure may be attributed to aging itself )

I suggest to counslet the blood test hormone level and your symptoms with your endocrinologist.
Keep reminder: The initial dose for the bordline of TSH level must to be Thyroid Hormon Replasment –Levothyroxin 25mg.

If you have any further queries, please feel free to ask. I would be happy to help.
Kind Regards
Dr KLodiana Poshi
