Suggest Treatment For Hyper Acidity

Hi , I am 39 years old and had some hyper acidity in August - September , got my endoscopy done and am diagnosed with lax GE junction . Am on esomiprazole ( nexium) for 3 months in reducing dose .
Q. Why me am not a patient of acidity?
Q. Will the sphincter get back to normal?

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Since you are a diagnosed cause of lower esophageal lax sphincter, the acid can come up and cause acidity related problems like esophagitis, GERD.
Esomaprzole that is Nexium will reduce the acidity part but the laxity may not return to normal.
Metoclopropamide or Domperidone can help you for tightening of the sphincter hence discuss this with your Doctor and get started on a proper dosages and duration.
Get the other medications like antacid when on empty stomach.
Sleep in reclining position.
Soft bland small frequent meals.
No alcohol, no tobacco in any form, no oily and spicy foods.
