Suggest Treatment For Hydrocephalus In A Bed Ridden Lady

normal pressure hydrocephalus has been diagnosed for a 65 year lady, she is bed ridden, tube feeding and absolutely no movements except eye. These were gradually occurred. neurosurgeon said no shunting because she is frequently undergoes infection and frequent low level Na ,k, Ca etc. any scope there doctor to bring her back b normal life

There must be some cerebral pathology which might have caused hydrocephalus and in this stage shutting is not advisable because soon it will be blocked, hope this information helps, take care
