General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The burning sensation in the throat is caused by acid reflux disease which is very common during pregnancy.
I suggest using antacids such as Maalox which are a safe treatment in pregnancy.
I also suggest avoiding food that can trigger the symptoms such as spicy food.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
