Suggest Treatment For Hives That Are Recurring

I have had hives for almost or over a week now. I've taken benadryl for 4 days but they keep coming back. Also Benadryl makes my eyes hurt and my nose stuffed. I don't know why the hives keep coming back or how I got them in the first place. Any advice?

Hello,
Hives also known as Urticaria which is most of times go away spontaneously but sometimes occur due to some underlying causes like Thyroid related problems, Lupus or some form of allergy & even heat, cold, emotion, exercise can also trigger it. So, you should consult a dermatologist who will exactly tell you about your problem. If you think that any of above mentioned condition is aggravating your condition then try to avoid them. Avoid tight clothing. Take tab. Levocetrizine 5mg once a day for one week.
Thank you for consulting HCM.
