Suggest Treatment For Hip Pain During RA

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hi I'm 24 weeks pregnant suffer from RA since u was 13 I have been having realy bad hip pains, back and abdominal pains. I work full time and finding it so hard to walk, iv had a sick line for 3 weeks and felt great so returned back to work. Was back only 3 days and I'm in the same pain again can't walk or sleep. I'm taking 5 weeks annual leave in march and due to go on mat leave in may. I'm getting so upset about taking time off work but I can't cope anymore. I don't take any meds for my RA as found it so hard to fall pregnant was advised to come off all meds. What is the best thing for me to do please help

first you fail to mention your age. second it is important to know what is the joint condition, as pain is not a good marker, one can have pain in synovitis stage also, let me inform you that RA treatment involves both use of drugs to control the disease and surgery in various forms to counteract deformity and disability. moreover its a known fact that symptoms of RA may aggravate during pregnancy. stay in touch with your rheumatologist and get treated according to stage of the disease.
