Suggest Treatment For High Fever

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...

My 13-year-old son started off with a high fever and a stomach ache 2 days ago. It has progressed to no fever and light red spots on his chest and back and still a stomach ache. What could it be?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your son have high fever and stomach ache 2 days ago which could be due to viral infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with paracetamol every 4 hourly. Maintain hydration of child well. Give curd in diet. Start giving oral rehydration fluids sip by sip to maintain the hydration. Avoid giving large meals to child and give him small but frequent meals. Visit pediatrician once and get it examined. You should go for blood tests as well and start treatment after proper examination.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
