Suggest Treatment For High Fever In Toddlers

My son, 2yrs and 4 months old, started a very high fever after 2 vomits on the previous day and little coughing in early morning. It is the 6th day today and he still has not recovered. From day 2 to day 5 the Doctor prescribed taximo and Meftal-p and today, on 6th day, the doctor prescribed Taximo Forte this time and SumoL for fever. The doctor said that chest is now clear but antibiotics are required for 3 more days. The fever used to shoot up to 103+ in the first 4 days but it goes up till 100 since day 5. Please advice.
