Hello,

Your child is given an antibiotic, a drug for allergies and also one for cough. If the doctor prescribed an antibiotic very likely the child is having a bacterial infection and continuing the antibiotic as long as prescribed is necessary unless the child develops allergy to it. The other two drugs are generally for symptomatic relive and it will not hurt the child if needed to stop.

If the child is vomiting after 1-2 hours very likely most of the drugs are absorbed already.

Giving the child oral rehydration solutions (you can take them in the pharmacy) in frequent small amounts and breastfeeding if you are breastfeeding will help with the water and electrolyte substitution.

If the child is vomiting often and you think is not keeping enough of fluids in you will need to send the child to be seen by a doctor to make sure there is no dehydration.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
