General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Let me tell you that amoxycillin is an effective antibiotic for streptococcal throat infection. As your child's symptoms are much better now, you should wait for another couple of days for her to be on amoxycillin and believe me she is going to be perfectly alright.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
