Hi. My son has just recovered from strep throat and ate fish out lastnight and has high fever today temp 104.5 being the highest with diarrhea and tummy ache. Slight vomiting but he expelled lots of mucuos he still had from strep throat infection. For the fever Have been controling his temp all day and managed to even break the fever (with suppositories, oral meds, fever patches, warm baths) but its rising again.. Pls pls advise if i shud let him ride it out another day or take him to a hospital? What is ok to have? Brat diet? Banana rice apple toast? How often should i insist he eat? Or avoid solids altogether and stick to water and electrolyte? Thanks in advance.
