Suggest Treatment For High Fever And Wheezing In A Child

Hello. My 2 years old son is having high fever (reaching 39.5) it s been 2 nights, and today he started wheezing in his chest. He used to have childhood asthma and took seroflo 50 for 2 months in May and June 2015. Is it ok if I use seroflo now again along with the fever reducers suppository? And when should I consider antibiotic as a treatment? Thanks

Hi
Welcome to the HCM

I understand your concerns but don't worry. It seems that your child is suffering from WALRI(Wheeze associated respiratory tract infection). I would recommend a chest X Ray to rule out any pneumonia and start antibiotics depending upon the Chest X Ray.

Hopefully it will be helpful.
Take care
