Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Please take your child to a nearby emergency room. High grade fever spike with fast breathing could be pneumonia, pleural effusion, empyema collapse, liver abscess or even appendicitis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prasanna Lakshmi, Pediatrician
