Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Considering this change in your blood pressure values, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests to investigate for the possible underlying causes:
-a resting ECG and cardiac ultrasound
- a chest X ray study
- complete blood count for anemia
- thyroid hormone levels for thyroid gland dysfunction
- blood electrolytes for any possible imbalance
- fasting glucose
- kidney and liver function tests
- blood electrolytes.
Starting anti-hypertensive therapy may be needed.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Wishing good health,
Dr. Iliri
