Suggest Treatment For High BP And Chronic Lower Back Pain

My blood pressure is 154/100 I am a 37 year old woman. I went to the er with chronic lower back pain radiating into my legs. My blood pressure there was 133/90 and the gave me a steroid shot and nothing for the pain. I have taken gabbapentin for possible nerve problems. What can I do at home to lower blood pressure and the pain. I have taken not run and alieve nothing helps

Hi,

Your BP is not too high. 130/90 is not high. You don't need any medicine for it. Just exercise and some salt restriction may be needed.

Regarding your backache, for that, you would need physiotherapy. Sometimes drugs like gabapentin also are needed.
