Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a baby 2 months ago. The last 2 or 3 wks of my pregnancy I developed high blood pressure and chest pain on the right side and and under the chest bone in two spots. I had no sign of protein in my urine or any other signs of pre eclampsia. They did not prescribe any medications. I continued having high blood pressure after I had the baby and was prescribed different blood pressure medicines. I have had chest pain still that radiates into different places and pain in my right shoulder blade. I get a tightness in my chest and lower throat area. I sometimes get a pain in my right shoulder and in my right arm. Less often than my left. I have had anxiety before but I sometimes get a nervous sensation which I would describe as anxiety that I have never felt. I feel fatigued easily. I have been to the ER several times to rule out heart attack and blood clots. I feel like im begging for an answer but my doc is blowing it off as panic attack and I feel that it may be more. This makes my 6th baby and I had high blood pressure a few months after I had my last baby with chest pain but it went away soon after it started. This time started out the same it just wont go away. Please any suggestions?
Your pain can also be caused by costochondritis or joint problems in vertebra. I would advise you to undergo tests for vertebra and joints. If there will be problem i can be treated with non-steroidal medications such as Ibuprofen and special exercises. So you will be relaeved from your pain
Wishing you good health
