Suggest Treatment For Hep B Infection During Pregnancy

i just diagnosed with hepa b and im pregnant now.i already went to the doctor and gone some tests.my hvb dna result is 13,326 IU/ML.he told me not to worry so much but i cant help it.please help me explain further about my situation and what i need to do.he just gave me vit.e to take everyday.it would really appreciate if you could help me this.thank you so much and god bless you!

Hello ma'am and welcome.

It is important to note that many women have a hepatitis flare dueing pregnancy, either a pre-existing one or a new infection due to the effect pregnancy can have on the liver.

Treatment for pregnant women requiring anti-viral therapt was found to be best with tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF). Please speak to your doctor for the same.
