Suggest Treatment For Heavy Bleeding While On Birth Control Pills

I have been put back on birth control to regulate my period and menopause. I began my period on Friday 7/29, early Saturday morning it became extremely heavy ( using a super plus tampon and a pad) and having to change every two hours or less. This continued until mid Monday morning and slacked off, since beginning my new pack of pills, but returned to the heavy state again by late that afternoon. This continued on Tuesday and today. Sat., Sun., and early Mon., I had cramps and pain prevented me from sleeping. I have had tiredness, light headedness, lack of energy, and some nausea.
