Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of heaviness in the chest and gastritis which could be due to viral or bacterial infection, acid reflux or peptic ulcer disease. It could be due to infection by H. Pylori bacteria. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take antacid medicines like ranitidine or pantoprazole. Avoid intake of oily, fried and spicy food. Drink plenty of water. You should take proton pump inhibitors such as ondansetron. You should visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper examination. You should have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Take plenty of fluids to replenish body. Avoid intake of large food at a time. You should take small meals and frequent meals.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
