Suggest Treatment For Heartburn And Rapid Heart Rate
i had a umbilical hernia repaired 2 days ago. Last night i went to the E.R. because i was in severe pain, and it was hard to breath. Tonight my heart rate is very fast and i have not had a bale movement since the day before my surgery. i am having heartburn and hiccups, and i cannot eat or drink without filling as if i went to the buffet. Please Help!!
All your symptoms are due to heartburn. Take antacids and ginger tea or supplement to ease the symptoms. Avoid caffeinated drinks, oily/spicy foods. Have dinner 4 hours before going to bed. Sleep with raised head to ease heartburn.
If still, no improvement should see a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and most specific treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
