Suggest Treatment For Heart Murmur And Seizure In A Child
Hi my daughter was diagnose with a heart murmur when she was born. She is six month now about three weeks ago i noticed she is having episodes of seizure like symptoms. her left eye becomes fluttery, watery, and her face gets red, body shaking, sucking swallowing sounds. after 30 seconds she is her usual self laughing, playing and full of energy.

Hi, your child has heart murmer and for this echocardiography should be done to know the type and extent of lesion. This will guide us about future prognosis of child. Seizure in a child could be due to many reasons like febrile seizures, lesion in brain. For this you need to do an eeg and MRI brain. Further treatment will depend on above reports. Take care.
