Suggest Treatment For Heart Burn

I was experiencing infrequent heartburn for once a month about 2 months about; this changed to more frequent heartburn to about twice a week for about 2 months; and now almost everything I eat or drink gives me a stinging pain in lower throat/upper abdomin area. I was diagnosed with colitis many years ago...but not since. I avoid spicy, acidy food and drinks but the stinging has gotten very frequent. What should I do?

I am broke so I cannot participate any further. You should state that help comes with a fee to avoid wasting people's time.

Hello
Heart burning is progressively increasing .
Previously you were a patient of colitis so avoiding spicy foods and drinks .
This type of heart burn may be due to these possibilities , these include.
1 The first possibility is of peptic ulcer or Hiatus hernia. Diagnosis can be confirmed by upper G I endoscopy.
Try raising the head of your bed about 4 inches with blocks. It also might help to avoid eating or drinking for 2-3 hours before you lie down. Since you are not taking spicy food or drinks with caffeine in them , this is very good for you.
Also take some antacid ( if it contains oxetacaine ,better for you ) but in your case symptoms are severe so you may need drugs like itopride+ rabeprazole one tablet two times in a day for 1-2 months or till complete cure , on empty stomach.
2nd reason of such symptoms may be due to tension and anxiety , so be careful about that also.
3rd reason is overeating on the name of healthy food . Since you are having burning sensation and heart burn , so whenever you eat any thing , keep one thing in brain that still your stomach is empty ( avoid over eating ) .
I advise my patient take less and less orally and feel free for heart burn.
Hope this will help you.
