Suggest Treatment For Headaches After Tonsillectomy

My 10 year old son had a tonsillectomy 3 days ago he also has spinal muscular atrophy 2, he has been complaining of severe headache for the last 24 hours even while being on loratab for pain he is also dizzy. Could this be from the surgery or the pain medication?

See, this headache is probably a result of the tonsillectomy operation your kid has undergone.
Now, loratab is a good medication for controlling pain and in paediatric patients, stronger painkillers are not recommended. I would suggest you to consult your ENT surgeon regarding this complication. He will be able to tell further after examining him.
