Suggest Treatment For Headache, Vomiting And Back Pain

Hello, Our Friend has been experiencing Over the last few months leg weakness with back pain as well. He had to bare down to go to the bathroom the other day and that is when the he expereinced instant blinding headaches with vomiting. It has been going on for for several days now! They have done many tests with no results. Tested for, meningitis, encephalitis, MS several others including a spinal tap.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of headache, vomiting and back pain. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like viral upper respiratory infection such as a cold or flu and symptoms of the flu, musculoskeletal pain , strain or sprain of the muscles, tendons. Need not to worry. Apply warm compresses on back. You should take proper rest. I would suggest you to consult general physician first for proper examination. Doctor may order blood test , viral culture test and check vital look for infection. Doctor may refer you to ENT specialist or orthopedic surgeon. Doctor may prescribe antiviral like acyclovir along with analgesic and antipyretic . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and drink warm glass of water with one spoon of honey in it.
