Suggest Treatment For Headache, Nausea And Eczema

My 18 year old daughter complains of daily headache and associated nausea for over a month. She has no other symptoms, no vomiting or diarrhea, no lethargy, she sleeps well. She suffers from eczema which flares up and can be quite severe and this appears to be allergy related but we have not been able to identify a specific allergen. The headaches are not severe but there is a family history of classic migraine and she has had migraines in the past. She does not feel that this is the same. She has a healthy diet, does not smoke but as she has recently turned 18, she has begun to drink alcohol, though not to excess. She appears otherwise healthy and well.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Eczema is an allergic skin disorder which seems to be unassociated with the headache and nausea.
The allergic agent which is responsible for flaring up of the disease needs to be identified for its management.
A past and family history of migraine increases the possibility for migraine to be responsible for the current headache and nausea.
I suggest you to consult your physician for clinical assessment and diagnosis.
If the headache turns out to be migraine, you need to follow anti-migraine treatment.
Classical migraine is accompanied by nausea, vomiting and aura.
Absence of these features does not rule out migraine completely but a clinical assessment is required.

Thanks and take care
