Suggest Treatment For Headache, Fever And Muscle Pain

My son ran a high fever with a headache and muscle pain seven days ago, last night it happened again. The fever a week ago was 102.5 and last night was 102.8, after treating with advil and pepto for his stomach upset it seems to subside in a day or so. But I don t understand why it reoccurred a week later.

Did your son have loose stools the first time? Treating the fever or the diarrhea with low dose or incomplete medication may lead to recurrence.
