Suggest Treatment For Headache, Diarrhea And Vomiting In A Child

My 6 year old started with a headache and fever around 101.5 for 24 hours. That went away and now 2 days later he has diarrhea and cannot even keep water down without vomiting it back up. His temperature now is below 96. I m wondering at what point he may need to be seen by a doctor?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Your child's symptoms point more to a gastro-enteritis whose etiology is to be investigated.Uncontrollable vomiting means over-the-count drugs to help relief him might not help much.I advice you take the child immediately to the Doctor for examination, work-ups and treatment.Excessive vomiting and its effect on the child will only worsen his state.
Wish your son a quick recovery
