My four year old son has been having stomach pain especially after eating and he cannot eat much at a time without it hurting. We have had an xray done and there is excessive stool in the colon. He is not getting any better after the clean out with milk of magnesia that we have attempted twice and we have also given enemas. He is beginning to have headaches every day now and is lethargic and his eyes are looking sick every day if you know what I mean by that. The impaction has been going on for at least a year and I am very concerned. He is not getting any better no matter what we try. He seems to be getting worse really and I don t know what to do. The doctors we have taken him to just don t seem to be very concerned.
Hello, Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern and the anguish that you are having.
I have gone through the question. It would help if you can tell me since when this is happening? The information that you have given is not enough to get to a cause but here are a few things that might be causing the problem: Splenic infarct or issue Appendicitis Kidney pain Gall stones Stomach infection
I would advise you to get an abdomen USG done and get a Complete Blood count done. This should help you get to the cause. Follow up so that I can help you. Hope this helps you. Feel free to clarify further. Dr Vignan
