Suggest Treatment For Headache And Pain On The Right Side Of The Skull

I have gotten a headache within the last hour which went from nothing to quite severe. it started at the back right of my skull and worked its way up and over the top of my head. No pain on the left side of my head. Just a few minutes ago, where the pain is seems to feel like it is going numb (not numb but feels funny) and I am sick to my stomach. This has never happened before. I have had headaches but not with the numbness. I have an autoimmune disease - still trying to figure out what but Sjorgrens and Bechet s are in play. Not sure what to do since this is odd.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have headache and pain on the right side of the skull. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like occipital neuralgia , migraine , brain tumor , stroke or stress headache. I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan or MRI to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe betablockers , frusamide along with vasograine . For now keep yourself hydrated , do mind relaxing exercises like meditation and yoga and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain.
