Suggest Treatment For Headache And Pain In Neck
My mom just felt a pop in the back of her head from coughing and now she has a sharp pain from her neck to the right side of her head with a headache. I didn t know what to do so I gave her to Bayer aspirin and an ice pack. Should she seek medical attention?

Hello,
It seems to be a muscle strain arising out of severe cough.
There is nothing to worry.
Treatment consists of local ice pack and tablet ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day for 3-4 days.
Baby aspirin won't have any effect on that.
She should be all right in next 3-4 days.
