Suggest Treatment For Headache And Acid Reflux

I spent yesterday in the ER after my primary referred me because I kept experiencing black outs that last a few seconds when I drive back and forth to work - about 15-20 minutes into the drive. The drive is 35 minutes - so the last stretch was frightening. The other bit is my stomach is also going numb, pins and needles, spasms throughout the intestines and lots of pain and gas, headaches at other times that feel like hammer blows to the right back side of my head and make me feel as if I am about to pass out, very weak, difficult to respond for awhile and exhausted. So, a CT scan was done at the ER and am to schedule for EEG. Is there someone who specializes in seizure/epilepsy diagnosis in San Antonio, TX you can recommend?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Acid reflux is stress induced or other gastric issues.

A headache can be from multiple factors and I would like to focus further on the CT report in a follow-up session.

Primary relief with proton pump inhibitor (as Omeprazole) with a combination of an antiemetic (as Ondansetron) and analgesic as extended-release Paracetamol for prompt results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
