Suggest Treatment For Head Injury

My mother who is 92 years old fell about 4 weeks ago and hit her head. At the time there was only brusing to her face. Since that time she wants to sleep alot during the daytime even after a good nights sleep. She is also having more deams at night.

Any patient over 65 at our facility gets a CAT scan if they hit their head. This is because the brain shrinks with age causing a greater likelihood for intracranial bleed. I would encourage you to take your mother to the hospital so they can do this test. There can be a slow bleed that can cause these symptoms.
