Hello. I have been through your question and understand your concern.

It seems that the head trauma was very severe, causing fracture and brain swelling. It is very important that he has no brain damage caused by the trauma. If the boy recovered well after the trauma, and he has no deficits, the situation is good.He just needs to put the plate to replace the bone defect and everything will go fine.

So basically, it is very important how did he recover from the trauma.

Hope this helps, please feel free for further questions
