Suggest Treatment For Hayfever In Pregnancy
Hi. Im 35 wks preg and now suffer from hayfever...i sneeze non stop and hv nose block and running nosebatvtimes, eyes itchy, etc. I usually suffer from it at this season and i hv Flomist hayfever nasal pray but am now scared to take it, is it safe?

I would suggest oral antihistamines like cetirizine or loratadine for the mild symptoms associated with hay fever. These are less likely to cause drowsiness and considered to be safe during pregnancy.
However if you do not get relief by antihistamines Flomist nasal hayfever nasal spray may be taken. These sprays are safe to use throughout pregnancy.
