Suggest Treatment For Hay Fever

I started with hay fever a few days ago, yesterday I was sneezing a lot. Noticed tenderness in throat in the evening getting worse. On going to bed found I couldn t lie on my back or left side because of severe pain in my throat, although lying on right side is bearable. Breathing deeply hurts in my throat, but shallow breathing is OK.

Hello,

I think the hay fever which was there has now turned into a viral or a bacterial infection. If there is an associated high grade fever it's a bacterial infection. If it's a low grade or no fever it's a viral infection in your throat. You need to take paracetamol for a viral one and an antibiotic with paracetamol for a bacterial one. Plus take plenty of fluids . Hay fever are simply allergic in nature and they do not cause pain in throat.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
