Hello sir, My name is anjali. I have harmons problem. My prolacting level remains so high. I am taking Cabgolin-0.25. But now i have some sideeffects of this medicine. I have been suffering this problem from 2005. I lapse some things from my daily routine. Please suggest any parmanent treatment for this problem. AGE-31 years weight-80.

Hello Welcome to HCM Thanks for posting your query in HCM. High prolactin levels are usually seen physiologically in lactation periods.Once milk secretion stops and regular periods commences,prolactin level comes down by itself.
But in your case pathologically,it is elevated.It may be due to pituitary mass like craniopharyngioma or prolactinoma.As your prolactin levels are not decreasing after taking medications also,permanent treatment for this condition is removal of the pituitary mass surgically.
So,i would suggest you to consult your treating doctor regarding this and take appropriate step.
