sir i am suffering from hair loss from past two years and the density of my hairs is decreasing. i am losing hairs mostly from front side and now from middle of my head also. I visited a dermatologist 1 year ago but the results were opposite. I am still losing hairs. please tell me what i should do?
Hello, Welcome to health care magic. You are having hair loss mainly from the vertex (middle part of the scalp) and over the sides of the scalp. This is a patterned hair fall seen in Male pattern baldness. There are US FDA approved treatments for it like topical minoxidil 5 % solution and Finasteride tablets. You need to be compliant with the treatment. The action takes about 6 weeks to start and hair density will improve only by 3 months. There are other adjuvant treatments like microneedling, stem cell therapy and laser comb. If medical treatment does not seem to help, you may have to opt for hair transplantation. Hope this helps you. Take care.
