Suggest Treatment For Hair Loss

Hello Doctor, this is Rajesh, age 25 male, i m having severe hair loss for the past 5 years, the front portion of my hair is falling off, for 3 months i used deemark herbal hair oil but didnot find any improvement , and none of my family members are bald, can u please suggest me some hair oil to regain my lost hair.

Dear Rajesh,

The symptoms as mentioned in your post suggests that you are having Androgenic alopecia or Male pattern baldness. It usually follows a pattern of receding hairline & is related to genetic makeup and male sex hormones.

Management involves application of Minoxidil preparations (like Mintop 10%) directly to the scalp to help hair growth by stimulating the hair follicles.

In addition, you can also use:
1. Multivitamin supplements containing Biotin.
2. Finasteride preparations- it interferes with the production of male hormone linked to baldness.
These medications have to be used regularly under the guidance of a Dermatologist.

If still there is no relief, I would advise you to go for hair transplant.
