Hi,

A normal thyroid hormone level is needed for proper functioning body.

Hypothyroidism is one of the reasons for hair fall but there are many other reasons to it as well, like low iron levels, malnutrition, vitamin deficiency, infections, smoking and all.

If your thyroid levels are normal on drugs then please rule out other causes. Moreover, hair fall is natural and male pattern hair loss is genetic can't stop them. If you are really concerned then you can decrease the fast progression and decrease hair fall by using Minoxidil, which should be applied for long-term till you want your hairs as it's effect is reversible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
