Suggest Treatment For Gastritis

Hi I would like to know if there is a permanent cure for mild chronic inactive gastritis in the antrum of my stomach. It was caused by the H. Pylori infection 10mths ago. However I was cured of the H. Pylori infection but was left with gastritis. Would this ever heal completely and if yes how long would it take?

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Your chronic gastritis is due to H.pylori infection.
Since you have already treated H.pylori, the gastritis should also resolve.
You need to take Nexium for 6-8 weeks.

I hope that answers your query.
Regards.
