Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I had a c section five months ago and since that time I have started experiencing severe gas and heartburn symptoms. This isn t something I ever had an issue with before. The pain in my upper abdomen radiates into my chest and is very uncomfortable. I tried taking gas x and it made me burp a lot, then it made me vomit. What can I do to relieve this and is there anything else I should consider besides it being gas related?
I think this is not related to c-section. It is a stomach hyperacidity because of burps and burbs and pain in stomach. You can take antiacids found otc in pharmacy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
