Suggest Treatment For Fungal Infection In The Armpits
i have fungal infection under arm pits which now spread to neck n some patches are formed at my belly, n some little patches on penis as well , i have used terbisil cream when it was only under my arms , after consulting a doctor . this relived me for few months and after that i have this severe condition . what should i do now ? whis is this happening and what is its permanent solution
Hi. As per your case history, you are having fungal infection called as tinea corporis. My treatment advice is - 1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily. 2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for itching. 4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist. 5. A total course of around 3 months is required for permanent cure.
